Somos...

It’s valid to acknowledge our struggles. The things that cause us pain, but the people we will be once the struggle is done? The world is not ready! Placing our sight into the next season can help us push fwd when we might feel we can't do it...whatever your "it" looks like.

As we go through large, significant and life changing events we tend of “forget” that mundane and small things happen everyday. The things that can push us over the edge. The things that put us in situations where we have to be truly intentional. How do you manage stressful "small moments of inconvenience" on a regular basis?

Life teaches us lessons most times, other times we try to control the stillness - that was my experience this week. Wanting to do something with all of our being doesn't mean "right now" it's the right time.

Sometimes we should sit, process, be patient, be still and trust that things will fall into place.

Listen to that small voice in the background, our intuition is correct most of the time.

I'm preaching to the choir, honestly...but we are all learning together, right?

As long as we practice kindness, love, empathy, healthy boundaries and growth, I think we will be ok.

What have you tried in your life that has helped you move on from someone or something that you felt was holding you back?

My capacity this week has been lower than normal - I still pushed, I am holding myself accountable for what I said I would do.

No siempre tengo la energia de hacer todo lo que me toca hacer pero Dios me da la fuerza todos los dias de seguir hacia adelante.

I hope my words help at least one person - we all have struggles but taking an active role in our lives is part of the journey of our growth, no nos podemos rendir. Love you all!

As we enter Season 2 of my podcast, many things have happened since my launch 2 yrs ago, some have remained the same. I want to take this moment to reintroduce myself and share the message that you may need to hear today.

Healing can be lonely - vamos a seguir el camino junt@s y quizás hasta sentirnos un poquito menos solit@s. I hope my vulnerability helps you see you are not alone in your path through life.

This is all about being a mamacita (y no, no la sexy, badass we are all known for lol) - parenting is hard - parenting a young adult?  Bring all the wine for this season in your life!

We love our kids, we do the best we know we can do for our kids but it's really hard when we have to let go and let them be the people we raised them to be - its difficult, painful, heartbreaking and sad but it has to also be empowering and defining to know we did our best within our capabilities.

Take a moment to listen to this love and raw episode.  Thank you Angelys for not thinking about it twice when I asked you to join me in this.  We are both going through similar paths and I couldn't have chosen a stronger woman to hold my hand and tell me "you are doing ok".  Te quiero de aqui al infinito...siempre!

Part of being a better person is to evolve - pensar las cosas antes de decirlas makes all the difference.

Use kindness and empathy when you are trying to share anything - gage your audience and use your best judgement.  Communication is key in any relationship and knowing how to do that in an effective manner can break it or make it.

You can't be the same person your entire life and expect relationships to not progress - take the time to process that and see how you can be better therefore, life is more enjoyable, happier and filled with people that bring you light.

This weeks episode is about how being a Latina doesn't mean we are crazy or loud - take a second to ackowledge all the hard work we do and how much we are taken for granted.  Value us enough to be willing to build a strong foundation in any relationship so when hard and difficult times come around we have the tools to work through it all.
