You wake up, you check your phone, and you see an annoying email. Suddenly, you’re angry. That email is the Cause, and your anger is the Effect. You go to work, a co-worker makes a snide comment, and your confidence drops. The comment is the Cause, your insecurity is the Effect.

You’re being moved by your environment, by your physical cravings, by what’s "trending" on social media, and even by your DNA. You’re essentially a leaf in the wind, thinking you’re choosing which way to fly, but really, the wind is making all the decisions.

But here is where the "Mastery" comes in. The Hermetists say you don’t have to stay a pawn. You can become a Mover. A Mover is someone who realizes that while they can’t stop the Law of Cause and Effect, they can choose which plane they want to play on.

Instead of letting a bad mood "happen" to you, you step back. You observe the mood. You say, "I see this feeling trying to move me, but I am going to choose a different cause." You decide to focus on a higher goal or a better thought.

"Everything is Dual; everything has poles; everything has its pair of opposites; like and unlike are the same; opposites are identical in nature, but different in degree; extremes meet; all truths are but half‑truths; all paradoxes may be reconciled.”

This Hermetic principle reminds us that duality is not separation—it’s continuity. What looks like a contradiction is actually just a contrast. Every experience has two poles, and between them is a range, a spectrum, a space where transformation happens.

Prinsip Polaritas mengajarkan bahwa segala sesuatu memiliki dua sisi, dua aspek yang berlawanan tetapi tetap saling terkait. Perbedaan antara dua hal yang tampak bertolak belakang tapi sebenarnya hanya dalam soal derajatnya saja, bukan permasalahan hakikat. Konsep ini membantu kita memahami bagaimana segala sesuatu di alam semesta ini bekerja dalam keseimbangan.

‘Segala sesuatu itu bersifat ganda; segala sesuatu memiliki kutubnya masing-masing; segala sesuatu memiliki pasangannya yang berlawanan; yang mirip dan yang berbeda sebenarnya sama; lawan-lawan itu identik dalam hakikatnya, tetapi berbeda dalam derajat; titik-titik ekstrem bertemu; semua kebenaran hanyalah setengah kebenaran; semua paradoks dapat didamaikan.’

Pernyataan ini terdengar filosofis, tetapi jika kita menguraikannya satu per satu, kita bisa memahami bagaimana Prinsip Polaritas benar-benar bekerja dalam kehidupan kita sehari-hari."

Semua hal, mulai dari spirit hingga materi fisik paling padat, bergetar dengan frekuensinya masing-masing. Semakin cepat getarannya, semakin tinggi dan halus bentuknya. Spirit bergetar dengan kecepatan yang sangat tinggi—saking cepatnya, kelihatannya seperti diam, seperti roda yang berputar sangat cepat hingga tampak berhenti. Sebaliknya, materi padat bergetar lebih lambat, sehingga kelihatan statis buat kita. Tapi, entah itu pikiran, emosi, atau benda, semuanya di alam semesta ini punya tingkat vibrasinya masing-masing.

Prinsip Korespondensi, atau Law of Correspondence, merupakan gagasan bahwa segala sesuatu di alam semesta ini saling terhubung dan beroperasi dalam pola yang serupa, dari yang terkecil hingga yang terbesar. Ini menunjukkan adanya ‘pantulan’ antara dimensi berbeda, baik itu dunia fisik, mental, maupun spiritual. Dalam ajaran hermetis, Prinsip Korespondensi menyatakan bahwa apa yang kita lihat di dunia luar merupakan pantulan dari apa yang terjadi di dalam diri kita.

The Hermetic Principle of Correspondence teaches that there is a correspondence between the laws and phenomena of the various planes of being and life. The Principle of Correspondence teaches us that everything in the universe is connected. We are not separate from the world around us, but part of a vast, interconnected web of life. Point kedua untuk mengerti manifestasi, kita harus punya ruang (atau space) di hidup kita  agar universe bisa menyalurkan apapun yang kita minta  ke dalam realita kehidupan kita. Manifestasi bukan cuman ingin a, mau b atau c tanpa diri kita melakukan action. Tapi diri kita harus commit sama apapun yang kita minta dengan mempersiapkan our physical body atau our 3D life (including mind, body, and spirit).
