While 2025 is shaping up to be the worst year for home sales in U.S. history, sales are up slightly in Michigan — with more homes hitting the market.
Relators say there's a catch-22: Buyers sitting on the sidelines are would-be sellers. There are a ton of homes not hitting the market as the owners wait for mortgage rates to come down before they move to upgrade.
