Psalm 133 invites us to ascend into unity and everlasting life with God.  Those two things go together in this Psalm.

Let us reflect upon the work of many great individuals during the Civil Rights Movement like Dr. King and pick up the mantle ourselves to continue to work for the coming together of humanity who, whether we know it or not, are already of one family.

Luke 3:15-17, 21-22

On this first Sunday of Epiphany, we tell the story of Jesus' baptism as we reflect upon all it meant and means.

Whether we are remembering or considering our baptism, we allow the Gospel writer's presentation to point the way.

Each year offers us a fresh start and, like the ancient Israelites in the wilderness, a fresh start begins with God.

God continues to shock us all by fulfilling divine promise through the most unlikeliest of candidates (by our standards).

Are we ready for God to bring fulfillment through us too?

In a time of division, fear, and other types of chaos, apocalyptic literature has something to offer us--hope.

Let's learn about apocalypse, fig trees, and the Gospel of Luke to hear a message of hope for us today on this first week of Advent.

Part of our commitment and calling is to be in relationship with others and tell what we've seen and heard...and invite others to "come and see" what we've found in our faith.
