We were luck enough to interview Kaz, the creator behind "Wortown Rising", a documentary about Worcester and its extensive hip hop history. Hearing about break dancing on June Street, Underground hip hop clubs downtown, rap battles, and a legendary T La Rock show in the basement of the Hannover Theater are all part of this episode. Kaz is a hip hop historian and a dude who is working hard to preserve some of the raddest stories in Worcesters storied history.

Worcesters Best Waitress, mother of two, wrestling fanatic, city meeting live-tweeter? Jenny Pacillio is all about being involved in city meetings and making them more accessible as possible. For over two years now (pre-covid), Jenny has attended every neighborhood watch meeting in her are of the city, and has live-tweeted them for all of our entertainment. We touch on her love of wrestling, a certain "meatball" that we all know and love, and some of the ways we could make city politics a little more fun and digestible.

Bill Shaner caused quite the stir last week when he announced he is leaving Worcester Magazine. Shaner spent the last three years becoming the face of the free weekly alternative newspaper, especially after numerous rounds of layoffs from parent company, GateHouse Media. We discuss Bill's decision to leave WoMag, and plans for his new direct-to-inbox blog "Worcester Sucks And I Love It".
