Aujourd'hui je vous explique en détails comment arriver a Semowi avec la nouvelle route. Nous ne pouvons plus passer par Mochaba Crossing car l'eau est arrivée et il n'y a plus de pont.

• New Turn-Off Point (May 2025):
  GPS Coordinates: -19.81282, 23.62757
  Look for an electric pole marked “148” and a  weird metallic sculpture at the turn-off.

1. From Maun, drive north on the Maun–Shorobe–Moremi road (B334).
2. Approximately 4 km before reaching Shorobe village, turn left at the point marked by these GPS coordinates: -19.81282, 23.62757. You’ll see an electric pole labeled “148” and a metallic sculpture marking the turn.
3. Follow the new bush track carefully.
4. Continue north until you reach a wider track — cross it and follow the Semowi sign, taking the right-hand road.
5. Follow this road for 3–4 km.
6. After crossing a concrete bridge, continue for 1 km. The road will split, but both routes lead to Semowi.
7. You’ll see a pink house on your right; the gate is located there.

Yes Botswana is wild. You may drive hours on a road and being alone; the next car will pass in a few hours or tomorrow.... for sure you won't have any connection... It's a huge country and few people. Most of our visitors tell us that they didn't realize before coming so I am telling it loudly today so you know: Botswana is wild!

Aujourd'hui je vous parle du Botswana et de son côté très sauvage. On entend presque tous les jours des gens qui nous disent qu'ils ne savaient pas avant de venir.... Donc moi je vous le dis: Le Botswana est sauvage. Il n'est pas rare d'être seul sur une route et de n'avoir aucune connexion. La prochaine voiture passera peut-être dans 1 heure ou demain.
