1. Ensure your rigger changes the reserve closing loop every time they open the reserve packing tray.
2. Practice your emergency procedures in front of your rigger and use a scale to check the tension on your reserve closing loop.
3. Only use an appropriately rated master rigger for parachute reline.
4. Ask your rigger for an inspection checklist when assembling, packing, or maintaining your rig.
5. Ensure your rigger has the appropriate parachute type rating and certification to work on your rig.
