The aboriginal flag was first raised in Adelaide in July 1971 and now the local community have re-marked the place with an indigenous Meeting Place in the same location.
Explorer Matthew Flinders used the name Terra Australis on maps he drew; that name has morphed into ‘Australia’.
The French celebrate their popular 1789 uprising on Bastille Day and we notice the positive change in 2017 politics with their new President.
Words didn’t come easy, so Shakespeare invented more – and we still use them to this day. He may have presented his plays at the Globe Theatre, but we can experience the same feelings at a new touring pop-up flat-pack theatre.
But imagine if you were deaf and blind – how would you communicate?
