Today was a bit different than our normal eps, but I really wanted to spice it up and chat about some stuff following my 23rd birthday :) A LOT has been on my mind recently (overthinking, we're not surprised) and I've taken a lot of time to sit and reflect on some of the hardest but most important lessons I've learned in 23 years, including many that I'm actively working on embracing. I hope that this episode speaks to some of you, regardless of where you are in your life right now. Young adulthood is so damn confusing, but take a deep breath and remember that nobody knows what they're doing, some people are just really good at acting like they do!! Today's episode was such a special one for me because I sat down with my best friend and got to unpack our history, our journey together, and give some advice to other couples in their early 20's wondering about their own situations and what's up next. We talked about how we met, how we knew it was serious, meeting the parents, the importance of best friend approval, how we knew we wanted to move in together, do's and don'ts when talking about milestones, struggling with communication, and so much more. We covered A LOT of ground in this *extra* long episode, so enjoy us talking about something that is so important to the both of us:) If you take nothing else away from this, hopefully it allows y'all to see that no relationships are perfect and a commitment to growth is the most important thing in maintaining a happy, healthy relationship. Happy Thursday zaddies!! Today I wanted to talk about something that has been on my mind a lot and I hope you were able to relate to some things we discussed. I think it's incredibly important to be smart about the content we consume on social media, what we put in our bodies, who we surround ourselves with, and what we spend our time doing. Honestly, forcing myself to take a hard look at the negative habits I've picked up recently has given me such great perspective and has allowed me to learn what works best for me and what makes me feel the happiest :) I would encourage all of you to take a step back and re-evaluate your habits and relationships to make sure you're spending your time doing what feels right for YOU and nobody else. Today on SNS we talked about prioritizing the people, things, and routines that make us HAPPY and feel GOOD about ourselves. Through this, I feel like we can challenge ourselves to take better care of ourselves, you know that saying "treat yourself like someone you love" is so true. I struggle with this every day, you're not alone. Anyways, just remember self-care DOES NOT need to be a glass of wine and a face mask, it can be if that's your thing babe, but it doesn't have to be. 

Know that setting boundaries and taking care of your own physical, mental, and emotional health is SO empowering. So be unapologetic about it. They'll get over it. XOXO w love,

Today we chatted about something kind of random, but also very important. Today we dig into something I have seen ALL OVER my social media and I just needed to talk to you guys about it. I think lucky girl syndrome is super interesting and there's a lot to be said about manifesting, the law of attraction, and the power of intuition. I truly feel like manifesting and shifting your mindset are both such great tools especially if you're in a season of life where there's a lot of room for doubt, uncertainty, and anxiety. Trust me when I say some of these have really helped me get of a funk, take more risks, and build my self-confidence when I desperately needed to, so give it a try. At the end of the day, life's too short to always be striving for a different life because the power is within you to make those changes that can get you there - so listen to your gut, b*tch!
