SensuCast

Our residents have been the lifeblood of Sensu since the very beginning, shaping the sound of the night in their own way. It can be both enjoyable and challenging setting the mood of the night whilst taking little glory. Longtime resident Cesco steps up to share some absolute gems to help pass your hours spent in lockdown.

Enjoy!

Not many people find the time to manage a record store, 5 labels, a flourishing DJ/Production career and general life all at once. Cinthie however, seems to take this in her stride. This was evident when she joined us in January at Sensu for her Sub Club debut. The music was warm, inviting and expertly selected. Solid proof that house music is very much alive and heading in a positive direction.

We are delighted to share with you Cinthie’s entire set from the night.

3 joyous hours for your listening pleasure.

Enjoy.

Hello January. Lets brighten things up. We welcome master craftsman Flørist for our first SensuCast of 2020. For many years we have admired his work from afar, so it's with a broad smile we get to share this mix with you today.

Enjoy.

Deep House Tehran is the leading Iranian underground house and electronic music magazine. Established in 2014 by Nesa Azadikhah DHT pushes electronic music both locally and worldwide in the form of mixes, workshops, interviews and more. The volume and quality of their content is a sight to behold with their mix series being a “go to” for us in recent years. We are delighted to invite Nesa to showcase a most excellent hour of deep delights that would sound just perfect for a Sensu Friday night warm up at Sub Club.

Enjoy.

SensuCast / 24 / Bud Burroughs

Bud Burroughs is one of the finer things to emerge from the Scottish Electronic scene. As part of the Jelly Roll Soul crew and club night he makes up part of a collective known for their deep understanding and love for the true foundations of House and Techno. Very few dig deeper with many falling short of their standards.

Buds third 12” release and second on Glasgow’s Seventh Sign Records is due to drop in Sept.

We are graced with a mix form the man himself worthy of multiple listens.

Enjoy

SensuCast / 023 / Vincent Floyd.

When Rush Hour Recordings re-released the 1990 Dance Mania ep “Your Eyes” some became aware of Vincent's work for the first time, others were just reminded of his talents. “Moonlight Fantasy” followed in 2014, six previously unreleased tracks of sheer bliss that helped cement his return as the house music champion we all need and want. Today his remix of "Rayskoye Mesto" hit stores worldwide, welcome signs that we can now look forward to regular releases from Vincent.

We are delighted to finally share this mix with you.

Enjoy!

2 hours of variation and class from our next SensuCast guest Wheelman, including some exclusive edits. If you haven’t listened to his 2018 releases on “Belters” and “Don’t be Afraid”, then you should. Very high quality, just like this mix.

Enjoy!

SensuCast / 021 / Hakim Murphy

For mix no 21 we connect with Chicago and present to you Hakim Murphy. With him comes a substantial and impressive discography that not many artists can boast to possess. Simply put, quality first without compromise - as this mix shows.

Enjoy. We did.

Last order of business for 2018. Estimulo has been one of our go to artists for mixes this year, so quite fitting that we end the year with a mix from the man himself. Track selection is always on point and put together with love. This is no different.

We hope you enjoy this and the rest of your year! See you in 2019.

Theo Kottis returns to his own Beautiful Strangers imprint for his new ep, this time teaming up with heavyweight distributors !K7 Records. We thought now the perfect time to invite Theo as begins to close off what has been a throughly deserved, non-stop year.

Top scores for this mix. Well put together with some excellent tracks we've yet to discover. As expected! Bravo.
