On Sunday, we welcomed guest speaker Steve Pavek, who shared an inspiring update on Alaska’s Hub 1 initiative, which equips and sends marketplace ministers to reach over 100 villages with the gospel. His message, “Picking a Fight for the Kingdom,” from Nehemiah 1:3–11, encouraged us to respond to God’s call with boldness and purpose.

Jesus tells us that true joy comes as we are formed into His likeness—people who live and love the way He does. Becoming like Jesus doesn’t happen by accident. In Exodus 33, Moses reaches a breaking point and declares, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.” In this message, we explored how joy is unleashed when we make God’s presence the animating center of our lives and our church.
