Indian weddings are big affairs to plan and manage. Managing expectations and requirement over email and phone with multiple people can create problems and confusions. Here are five areas we need to look into.
1. Miscommunication
There are always chances of miscommunication when you have multiple points of contact.
2. Last minute surprises.
Last minute changes to the plan can be tricky to handle or accommodated easily.
3. Self-managed Team.
Most of the professional wedding photography teams are self-managed teams and does not require any management by family or event management team.
4. Better execution of the photography team's plans.
When any team is self-managed, they execute plans more effectively and without any hassles.
5. Avoid confrontations
I share an example from a wedding in Pune. Dealing with bride/groom in US and Father in India while design wedding albums. It leads to little confrontations because the family was not sharing collective ideas.
