Thank you to all for being patient with this episode!
In today's conversation, I'm joined by Cho Eul-Ah, a psychiatrist from Seongnam Medical Center, who shares insights on the importance of teenage mental health. Adolescence is by far the most formative years in life, making it critical to address the various psychological needs of the youth. Left untreated, even seemingly innocuous mental issues can rapidly deteriorate into severe, long-term consequences.
Though some may see mental health issues as symbols of weakness and unworthiness, Ms.Cho paints them as natural and inevitable biological side effects. At some point, we all will experience mental struggles, and that's not just normal - it means you're striving to live the fullest life possible.
Ms.Cho reminds us to never be afraid to reach out for help. There's nothing humiliating about prioritize taking care of your mental state; in the end, your brain is what makes you, you.
Stay tuned for the next episode coming in less than a week! Thank you to Ms.Cho for her time and words of wisdom:)
