Greg Sword of Coquitlam, B.C. is the father of 14-year-old Kamilah who died of an opioid overdose on August 20, 2022. Greg Sword told us on air a friend of Kamilah's obtained the opioid through a purchase from a drug addict who in turn had received the narcotic from a safer supply location in Vancouver.

This week Greg Sword appeared as a witness before a parliamentary committee investigating the safer supply/safe injections site issue. He was, writes our guest in an NP column, treated with indifference by Liberal and NDP MPs.
