Put It All On!

Here are three key takeaways from this expository sermon based on Ephesians 6:10-20:

1. First, we learn the importance of knowing our enemy. The spiritual forces at work against us are real, and they are powerful. But they are not stronger than the God we serve. By understanding the devil's schemes, we can be vigilant and not fall into his traps.
2. Next, we will focus on the need to wear the full armor of God. Each piece-the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace,the shield of faith the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit-equips us to stand firm. But we must put each on daily. Just as a soldier wouldn't dream of going into battle without his armor, we must not face the day without being spiritually prepared.
3. Finally, we will explore the vital role of standing firm through prayer. Prayer is the thread that ties the armor together and the fuel that empowers us to fight. It connects us directly to God, our source of strength, and it keeps us alert and ready for whatever comes our way.
