Preaching from 1st Samual chapters 19-22, he recalls how David was filled with fears which led to several bad decisions. Eventually, David ends up in a life or death situation and tries to “play the fool” to escape. Psalm 34 shows that David realizes all His efforts were foolish and that deliverance comes only from the Lord.
