In this episode of Serving Jesus Christ, Pastor Swanson shares a Sunday message titled,
Safe Sin!
Who knows what an "oxymoron" is?
Examples of an "oxymoron" would be "cruel kindness," or "healthy disease" or "harmless poison" or a "good murder."
On a lighter note, it would be "clean dirt."
Have you figured out the meaning yet!
An oxymoron is a combination of words that do not normally go together.
With that thought in mind, I want to add another combination of words to our list.
“Safe sin.”
Let me explain. These are sins that people think are not all that serious. They are thought of as sins that make it under God’s radar and are not considered even by Him to be all that serious.
If we put it to a vote, these sins would be quickly removed from the list of sins altogether.
Safe sins are those sins we think we can engage in under God’s radar.
Do you really think that is the case?
If you have fallen into this trap of Satan, immediately repent of your sin. . . asking God to forgive and cleanse you.
