Xbox's first party lineup looks amazing. We are set to get some really diverse and incredible looking titles and Gears of War looks like one of the best ones yet. But I've felt Gears of War needed a change since the second game. Gears of War E Day might be the type of Gears game I've been harping on about for years on podcasts. This one could be something special.

What an incredible showcase! Xbox managed to reinvigorate the Xbox fanbase in one fell swoop with a showcase for the ages! The fallout of that has been a sight to behold with haters desperately finding ways to reconcile their hatred of Xbox with what was undeniably an incredible show.

State of Fail. We've had Playstation's State of Play event from Playstation and by in large, this has been met negatively as it marks yet another event that has disappointed many. Sony's Hermen Hulst outlined Sony's multiplatform strategy and Xbox has its big showcase event next week!

After rampant speculation last week that Call of Duty would not appear on Xbox Game Pass, it appears that the Wall Street Journal now confirms that this is not true. Call of Duty will be appearing on the Xbox Game Pass subscription day one.

Playstation also had its earnings call and it looks like Playstation will be focusing on engagement over sales figures as well as bracing itself for lower hardware sales going forward. A bigger focus on live service will also be at play. Will this sit well with the Playstation faithful or are they still in denial despite Sony's own words? I discuss all this and more!
