Harnett County NAACP Youth Trailblazer of the YearThe Harnett County Chapter of the NAACP is giving a new award this year — it’s very first in an annual series of Youth Trailblazer Awards — to a special young woman who is already blazing a trail at the age of 17. Dunn’s own Mahogany Newkirk will be the inaugural member of this new group of distinguished youth as she receives her award at the chapter’s annual Freedom Fund Banquet Sept. 27.
