Sequelisers

It's time for our season finale and, as is tradition, it's a big one!

We're finally tackling the ultimate superhero movie crossover of The Beast vs David Dunn AKA The Overseer AKA Tip Toe Man AKA Green Guard.

Yes, we're discussing an M. Night Shyamalan movie as we fix 2019's Glass.

This week is the last of this season's VIP picks and it's gonna be a long episode. Why? Because it's Underworld: Awakening - the fourth in the franchise! That's right, vampires, lycans, werewolves (because they're different apparently) and hybrids, it's time to fix Underworld.

Hark to this tale of a Scottish dragon, a Texan knight and a despot from  Blackpool, as we take a look at 1996's DragonHeart and its  cheap-as-chips sequel, A New Beginning. We discuss this weirdly  long-lived franchise, explore the strange alternate universe versions of  the original, and try to craft a sequel that's got, dare we say, a  little more heart.

Yes, it's a sequel (kind of a spin-off) to The Big Lebowski.

Yes, it's as bad as it sounds. No, the Coen Brothers didn't make it.

It's time for us to discuss, dissect and fix 2020's The Jesus Rolls.

This week is our second VIP pick and it's a particularly nasty one - like an infected boil. The first film was a lazy meandering nightmare, how could the sequel be any worse? Well, you'd be surprised folks. So strap in as we take on the Sandman and the boys, by fixing Grown Ups 2.

The original Ghost In The Shell was a landmark anime film that has influenced countless movies, TV shows and more since its release in 1995. The sequel is... fine.

Can we come up with something that would be a more fitting follow-up? How easy is it to integrate philosophy into a sci-fi action story? And how many mechsuits has Matt insisted on putting in his pitch?

Hold onto your guitar cases because in this week's episode, we're heading back to 2003 and holding Robert Rodriguez accountable for the third part of the Mexico trilogy. The giant mess is, of course, Once Upon A Time In Mexico.

This week's episode is our first VIP pick, and it's a challenge to recapture lightning in a bottle. From fun 90s action buddy comedy, to hideously offensive 00s trash, come with us as we follow Rush Hour's fall from grace.

Looks like meat's back on the menu, Sequelisers! This week, we're taking on the sequel to a horror classic that decided to up the comedy, with decidedly mixed results. Join us as we attempt to fix The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, and explore a franchise that's gone from iconic to moronic.

Hey, laser lips!

It's the winner of the Patreon vote for this season and that means it's time for us to revisit another 80s classic and its disappointing sequel as we take on Short Circuit 2!
