November 30, 2021 Season 9 Episode 9 - Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil
The Disney machine never stops, and that's good because it keeps us provided with plenty of bad sequels to fix, for example, 2019's Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. We take on a film filled with inexplicable accent choices, irritating pixies and far too much green screen, and see if we can craft a happy ending for this alternative take on the classic fairy tale.

November 16, 2021 Season 9 Episode 7 - FernGully 2: The Magical Rescue
With the world around us on its knees and political leaders meeting to try and figure out how to address the growing climate crisis, it seems only fitting to cover 90s message piece, FernGully. Or more accurately, it's deeply inferior successor: FernGully 2: The Magical Rescue.

November 09, 2021 Season 9 Episode 6 - Zombieland: Double Tap
Time to nut up or sequel up, as we take a trip to Zombieland. The original captured the zeitgeist back in 2009, but after a 10 year wait for a sequel, we were left with more of a bloated corpse than a lean, mean brain-eating machine. Can we salvage this undead duology, or is it time for a bullet to the head?

October 19, 2021 Season 9 Episode 3 - Timecop 2: The Berlin Decision
This week, we're taking a trip through time and space and ending up in Brussels, as we tackle the sequel to a Jean-Claude Van Damme... classic? We take a look at the schlocky pleasures of the first film, examine how the ambitions of the direct-to-DVD sequel are hampered by its tiny budget, and try to pitch a fix without exploding in a shower of paradox goo.
