Sequelisers

Welcome to the third episode of Sequelisers, the show all about fixing bad sequels to good movies. If there’s a good movie that was followed by a terrible sequel, you better believe that we’re going to try and fix it.

This episode is all about the first truly terrible Batman film, Batman Forever!

Sure, there are worse ones but this is where the rot sets in.

So, what can we do to fix it? Change the actors? Change the director? Completely rewrite the script?

All of the above, pretty much.

It’s the Bat Nipples vs Street Sharks Forever as our teams pitch their ideas for a great Batman movie.

Who do you think had the better pitch?

A film that is tonally mismatched and never made the cultural impact that the original did.

All of the above, pretty much.
