The lovely Jill Judson from the singing group The Goseplites, let me come along to one of their sessions, to record some music and chat with the members. I've often heard them singing, when I've walked by the door to Saint Ambrose parish centre in Kidderminster.

The Goseplites were founded 7 years ago, by Alison Underwood before being taken over by Jill 3 years ago.

It is open to people who belong to a local U3A group. However they don't usually ask you. The cost is £2 a session which is very reasonable and you get tea and biscuits too!

The group meet fortnightly and visit 2 nursing homes a month. The money raised goes to charities that the group members are associated with. The average age is over 50's and you don't need to be able to sing, just have a passion to want to.
