Sl: Ljubljana je bila pokrita s tanko plastjo snega.
En: Ljubljana was covered with a thin layer of snow.

Sl: Mateja je v toplejšem plašču stopila v Ljubljanski umetnostni muzej.
En: Mateja, wearing a warmer coat, stepped into the Ljubljanski art museum.

Sl: V zraku je bil občutek miru in tišine.
En: There was a feeling of peace and quiet in the air.

Sl: Velike steklene okna so spuščala sivo zimsko svetlobo, ki je nežno osvetljevala elegantne prostore.
En: The large glass windows let in the gray winter light, which gently illuminated the elegant spaces.

Sl: Obožuje umetnost, predvsem slikarko Ivano Kobilico.
En: She loves art, especially the painter Ivana Kobilica."

Sl: ""Seveda," je rekla Neža in pokazala na oddelek, kjer so imeli izbor predmetov povezanih z Ivano Kobilico.
En: "Of course," said Neža, pointing to the section where they had a selection of items related to Ivana Kobilica.

Sl: "Imamo nekaj čudovitih tiskovin in knjig.
En: "We have some wonderful prints and books."

Sl: " Mateja je pregledovala vse te možnosti, a njeno srce je bilo še vedno nemirno.
En: Mateja was browsing through all these options, but her heart was still restless.

Sl: So bili vsi čudoviti, a kateri je bil pravi?
En: They were all wonderful, but which one was the right one?

Sl: Njeni prijatelj Lenart, ki jo je spremljal, se je skoraj dotaknil kipa, vendar ga je v zadnjem trenutku ustavil.
En: Her friend Lenart, who was accompanying her, almost touched a statue but stopped just in time.

Sl: "Mateja, glej!
En: "Mateja, look!"

En: With a smile on her face, Mateja, together with Lenart, left the museum just before they closed the doors.

Sl: Počutila se je srečna in razbremenjena.
En: She felt happy and relieved.

Sl: Vedela je, da bo to darilo njeni mami prineslo veliko radosti.
En: She knew this gift would bring her mother great joy.

Sl: Ko je Mateja hodila po zasneženih tlakovanih ulicah Ljubljane, se je počutila bolj samozavestno.
