Sl: Na terasi sončenega kavarne v Piranu, kjer se solni vonj morja pomeša s sladkim vonjem kave, sedita Maja in Ivo.
En: On the terrace of a sunny café in Piran, where the salty scent of the sea mingles with the sweet aroma of coffee, sit Maja and Ivo.

Sl: Geranije krasijo robove, rahlo šumi veter, valovi nežno butajo ob obalo, medtem ko oddaljeni galebi klepetajo.
En: Geraniums adorn the edges, a gentle breeze whispers, waves gently lap at the shore, while distant seagulls chatter.

Sl: Maja, pisateljica v iskanju navdiha, s težkim srcem zre v prazno beležnico in dvomi vase.
En: Maja, a writer in search of inspiration, stares with a heavy heart into a blank notebook, doubting herself.

Sl: Ivo, domačin in fotograf, sedi blizu nje, njegove oči pa skrbi polnijo misli o njegovem delu.

Sl: Sonce mehko obsije teraso, prijetno toplo je.

Sl: "Lep dan je, mar ne?
En: "It's a lovely day, isn't it?"

Sl: " prijazno reče in postavi skodelice na mizo.

Sl: Maja dvigne pogled in opazi Ivove fotografije, ki ležijo ob njem.

Sl: Odloči se tvegati in začne pogovor.

Sl: "Ukvarjaš se s fotografijo?
En: "Do you work with photography?"

Sl: " vpraša Maja nekoliko sramežljivo.
En: Maja asks somewhat timidly.

Sl: Ivo se nasmehne, a v njegovih očeh je dvom.
En: Ivo smiles, but there's doubt in his eyes.

Sl: "Ja, ampak včasih se sprašujem, če to sploh pomeni kaj.
En: "Yes, but sometimes I wonder if it means anything at all."

Sl: " Medtem ko govorita, se oblaki na obzorju začnejo zbirati.
En: As they talk, clouds on the horizon begin to gather.

Sl: Storm prihaja, čeprav je pomlad nežna in sončna.
En: A storm is coming, even though spring is gentle and sunny.

Sl: Oblaki zajamejo nebo, Ivo predlaga, da bi poiskala zavetje v stari cerkvi nedaleč stran.
