If all things apart from Christ are a loss, how much value then are all things done for Him? Surely they matter! Every goal you have made, prayer you have sent up, work you have put in, to achieve something to the glory and knowledge of the Father is not in vain, though you may have experienced failure. Proverbs 20:30 states that “Blows that hurt cleanse away evil, as do stripes the inner depths of the heart.” Failure and trials play its part in refining your heart to God’s glory.
