Georgia goes down, Notre Dame doesn't lose a must-win, Ole Miss falls flat in their first real test, and Florida State is just flat out awful. Then we get to a, uhhhh, let's say less than stellar Week 6. Enjoy the 55 straight days of football everyone!
Michigan outphsyicals USC, BYU stomps Kansas State, Utah handles Oklahoma State without their starting quarterback, and Tennessee has Oklahoma spiraling before October. We break it all down in this week's college football podcast. Then we preview a big Week 5 that could have one or both of the hosts in absolute HELL on Saturday. Next week's episode could be an all timer.
Sounds like a night home from college for me. ha ha haaaaaa. Anyway, we break down Georgia's narrow escape, Kansas State handling Arizona, and another week another disaster for Mike Norvell and the Noles. We name our studs n' duds of the college football week, fire a few coaches and preview a, uhhhh, let's say *challenging* Week 4. Thanks for listening!
We all know why you're here. We get into the Irish loss, get into a few more Week 2 games and put maybe 25% of the power 4 on fire his ass watch. I know everyone was focused on South Bend, but we still saw what you tried to get away with when everyone was distracted Oklahoma, Virginia Tech, and Alabama (among others). We see everything.
What an opening week of college football. Georgia dismantled Clemson, Florida picked up right where they left off, and Notre Dame's elite defense overcame a large group of people being in the same place. We also cover studs n' duds, fire our first coaches of the season, and preview a solid Week 2. Texas Michigan, Colorado Nebraska, and the Mayo Classic. How lucky are we?
We are fully back folks. Week 1 is here. We quickly run through the week's big matchups; UNC Minnesota, Colorado North Dakota State, Clemson Georgia, Miami Florida, Notre Dame Texas A&M (eeek), and USC LSU. Enjoy it folks. By the time you hear this, games will be less than 24 hours away. Giddy up.
The boys are back and firing off their college football season predictions in this week's episode. We pick every conference champion, our 12-team playoff, and tell everyone who's ass is getting fired first. We also answer some listener questions about bowl season, rebuilding teams, and who the Oasis of college football is. Week 1 preview will hit your feeds Wednesday evening!
In our next college football season preview, we take on teams that can win their conference. After saving his job, can Neal Brown take the Mountaineers to the next level? Who is going to push Utah for the Big 12 title among Oklahoma State, Kansas, and Kansas State? Is Clemson back??? Is Tennessee? And what did Oklahoma do to deserve this year 1 SEC schedule?
In our next college football season preview episode, the boys take on a group of teams who had good 2023s and are set up for less successful 2024 (except for Utah). Can Manny Diaz keep the mojo going at Duke? Can Tim Albin reload the Ohio Bobcats? Is Lincoln Riley the biggest fraud of all time? Where does Oregon State go from here? We also touch on UCLA, Maryland, Air Force, Northwestern, and Boise State.
In our next college football season preview episode, we tackle the teams who are ready to take the next step. Is Virginia Tech ready to return to glory? Can Mike Elko bring Texas A&M back to the promised land? What does year two under Luke Fickell look like for Wisconsin? Can Ken Niumatalolo succeed without the triple option? All those answers plus Boston College, Rutgers, North Carolina, Kentucky, Iowa State and Texas Tech previews! Thanks for listening folks
