Kenneth McDuff was convicted in the late 1960's for the murders of Robert Brand, Mark Dunnam, and the rape, tortue, and murder of Edna Sullivan, all teenagers who were sitting in their car at a baseball field after dark. After the Supreme Court temporarily struck down the death penalty in 1972, McDuff sentence was commuted to life. He was ultimately released in 1989 when he would start kidnapping, torturing, raping, and strangling women again just three days after his release. It would be nearly a decade and at least six more victims before McDuff was caught again.
