From 1975-1980, Yorkshire was terrorised by 13 brutal murders and several attempted murders, that we know of.

The rampant misogyny of the police and broader public attitudes left a number of victims and victim’s families further traumatised and led to one of the notoriously botched investigations in West Yorkshire.

Peter Sutcliffe was caught in early 1981, not through the police investigation into the murders, but through the instincts of a single officer.
