We discuss Serie A's relegation playout match between Spezia and Verona which saw drama, a send-off, a missed penalty, amazing goalkeeping as well as plenty of goals, as the gialloblu survive for another season in the top flight and sent Spezia down to Serie B.

Claudio Ranieri's Cagliari found a stoppage time winner in their Serie B promotion playoff against Bari in incredible scenes which had everyone's favourite gentleman of calcio in floods of tears, after he pulled off a miracle, returning in January to the club he first managed in 1988 and dragging the team up from 14th place to earn promotion to Serie A for the Sardinians.

Italy Under 20s lost their World Cup Final to Uruguay.
