Serious Foul Play - The Podcast

This week we finally arrive at the show the boys remembered so fondly - UPW Live 6 from the Weymouth Pavilion. Would it hold up as well as they remembered or not? They discuss Rob's match against Blake Harrison and the tag match with Adz and Dan against Joshua James and Eddie Ryan. Also, Mr Max Castle finally reappears as the boys find out where he's been.

Outside of the show, we discuss our thoughts on the weather, a fact that's picked up on from Rob's wife and also discuss some charity bears! As this was recorded along the same audio for the other Top 5 Podcasts we did, we also had a little catch up beforehand and, for the first time, were the Awesome Foursome on the Pod, as Mr Castle joined us (ok, maybe you won't hear him but we promise he is there)! We discuss our weeks, Adz love for Taco Bell, why Dan is the British Al Bundy and why Rob's little lady is running him ragged.

We're into double digits!!! After a weeks break due to audio issues, the lads are back with Episode 10 - a rewatch of UPW Live 5. Only Dan and Adz were present on this show, with Max still missing and Rob off on a mission to find him. Adz takes on Joshua James in a rematch from Wincanton as he looks to avenge his loss, whilst Dan faced Dick Riley in a non-title match. Both guys take turns in the commentary booth as well for each others matches.

Outside of the rewatch, we also get a lesson in vocabulary as Rob & Dan teach Adz about some Pomepy dialect and Adz returns the knowledge with some of his own!

This week we take another break from our rewatch as we discuss a few more topics and do our best to rank them in a "top 5" list. Although we invisioned this discussion as a two parter, we actually still have more audio left for a part 3 to come soon! This week we pick up right where we left off, discussing UPW Live 4. After diving into the set up of Adz match last week, the focus of today is the first of Rob's rivalry with Jake McCluskey and Dan's title defence against Eddie Ryan.

On top of this, we discuss names in wrestling, happy accidents and a famous Steve Austin quote Dan tries to live by.

This show was a big one! After all the boys, except Dan on a guest commentary spot, missed UPW Live 3, the lads are back without Max for UPW Live 4. We said at the start we thought it may be a long one and we were right!

In part 1, we touch upon the reasons why we weren't at the show in Exeter and what commentary was like for Dan. Then we switch our attention to UPW Live 4 and take an in depth look at what we got up to at Wincanton without Max. We give some advice we've tried to learn regarding promos, look at Adz match vs the returning Joshua James and we even put him over a little!

We also have our first guest! As Robby's little lady Paisley makes her opinions known with a few noises from the background. Come check it out and let us know what you loved about this weeks episode!

For the first time since our formation, we're all together as the Awesome Foursome and we're all in action. Adz takes on Eddie Ryan, Max battles Gideon Grey whilst Rob and Dan finally face The Brothers Awe in a tag match that was meant to take place at the anniversary show. And before all that, the boys reflect on their promo to open the show with the reveal of the first official SFP merch...

This week, we look at the first show after our formation... without Rob! Whilst he was away on "official SFP business", Dan, Max and Adz took to Wincanton to celebrate the title victory from the month before. We go into depth about the heavyweight brawl between Max Castle & Josh James, Adz tells us his battle against the "Evil Genius" Lord Gideon Grey and Dan talk renewing a rivalry with Josh Bodom as he defends his UPW Championship against both former champions from the previous show: Josh Bodom and Jake McCluskey.

This week, we dive into the formation of us coming together as a group, largely focused around UPW's Fourth Anniversary show. Hear the story from the initial heel turn of Dan and his pairing with Max, how they were quickly joined by Rob and eventually how, after all the twists and turns, Adz finally joined to become the "awesome foursome" (Adz words).

It also coincides with the night Dan won the belt and we take a look into the good and bad bits of the cash in, as well as a tag match pitting Rob & Max against the Brothers Awe with Adz in their corner!
