President Raul Castro declared victory for the Cuban Revolution on Saturday in a wide-ranging speech, thanking US President Obama for “a new chapter” while also reaffirming that restored relations with the United States did not mean the end of Communist rule in Cuba. Was this a good idea by the POTUS?
SEGMENT 2: IT WAS JUST A MATTER OF TIME…
Two uniformed NYPD officers were shot dead Saturday afternoon as they sat in their marked police car on a Brooklyn street corner — in what investigators believe was a crazed gunman’s assassination-style mission to avenge Eric Garner and Michael Brown. We knew this would eventually happen. We will talk about it.
SEGMENT 3: PROTECTING THEIR OWN!
A new bill passed last week in Illinois would make it a felony to secretly tape any “private conversations," with steeper punishments for those surreptitiously recording the police. Critics of the proposed law claim it would scare citizens from recording interactions with law enforcement, following a number of high-profile police killings caught on camera. Is this true? We will discuss!
