We live in a world that is constantly changing. But this world is not our home. We are merely passing through and as we sojourn through it we must often CHOOSE where, and to whom, our hearts will be CONNECTED. To follow God with all of our hearts requires being a learner, a servant, and a story teller.

We have each been born into a family story (heritage). The choices, changes and "connectivity" of our life journey are reshaping our family story. How has God attempted to write Himself into your family story? What "defining moments" stand out as major legacy shapers in each of our stories?

Memorial Day weekend. Here at Calvary, we launch our "100 Days of Summer 2014." Our themed journey, "Choices, Changes, and Connectivity," will lead us through 100 days of discovering and adjusting our lives to God's truth. Summer 2014 has the potential to be life-changing for all of us!

Jesus prepared His friends for His departure, their empowerment, and the launch of His Jesus movement worldwide. 2000 years later, His movement is changing lives around the world. About 100,000 people DAILY are being rescued, as they trust Risen Jesus Christ to be their Savior and Lord! Transformed, we advance His Kingdom on earth, pushing back the darkness... everywhere!

Memories are wonderful... but too often our look back is clouded by remembrances of failure or wounding. The resurrection of Jesus Christ provides a victorious, living Savior, Who is ready to powerfully rescue us from our haunting past, the brokenness in which we live today, and fear of the uncertain future.

The gospel is the good news about Jesus. It is the news that He came, lived, died, and rose again, that He reigns in heaven. He came for the forgiveness of sins for all who believe. We are the witnesses of this truth for today.

In one week since Easter 2014, have more than one million people globally experienced the power of resurrected Jesus in life transforming redemption? What happened to those who encountered Him, the resurrected Jesus, in that first week? Is it happening to me? Why or why not? What difference did it make in their world? Is it happening in my world? Why or why not?

No weekend in human history is more significant than Easter. The events of this weekend - the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ - are unique in all history. The impact of that first Easter on human history is unsurpassed. The number of people whose lives have been transformed by the risen Jesus Christ is incalculable. How do you describe the importance of Easter in your life story?

Expectation - def. "a belief that something will happen or is likely to happen."We live in a world where we all have great expectations of people, circumstances, and life in general. But what about our spiritual lives?

In every aspect of life all of us have experienced disappointing "down times." Learning to "REBOUND" from those dark times is essential in life. Learning to "REBOUND" with God's direct involvement is one secret to building a legacy of living life to the FULL!
