Circumcision is a matter of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter. His praise is not from man but from God.
The book of Romans is considered one of the most important books ever written on the Christian faith. In this New Testament letter of the Bible, the apostle Paul provides a clear, in-depth and powerful proclamation of the Gospel. Exploring its richness, and discussing its significance, Paul connects the Good News of Jesus to the Christian’s life.
When Jesus journeyed to the cross, He was demonstrating the purposeful and passionate way of love. On the cross, as Jesus stretches out His arms, it was His way of saying: “I love you. Personally. And powerfully.” This Lent, as we journey to the cross, we’ll be reminded of what love really is and is not. Letting 1 Corinthians 13 be our guide, what is often referred to as the love chapter of the Bible, we will find in the Apostle Paul’s words a clear picture of the love that God has for us. We’ll discover that the love we are meant to receive is a love that we are also meant to live out. So join us this Lent as we together experience THE WAY OF LOVE.
