Pastor Abe gave an excellent sermon Sunday: This Is Us -- It’s Time To Move. In the book of Genesis, God called Abram to leave his life and move to a new place full of promise. Sometimes movement takes us out of our comfort zone, but we need to be men and women who love and take time to teach those younger than ourselves. Wisdom is not only recognizing the past while acknowledging the present but believing in the future and being willing to move forward with God. We can know that what we do today affects not only us but for future generations as well!

These victories once won, can bring blessings to those around us and future generations. It is time to bring those dreams to the front again!

Pastor Fernando's sermon, Seers of the Future, was such an encouraging word. In the book of Genesis, we read how Noah prepared for something he had never seen and endured the pressures of waiting under challenging circumstances. Each generation faces its storms, but God is not surprised, He always has a shelter and a plan. Whatever we are going through, he is bringing us out to bring us into to His promise and bless future generations.

Pastor Fernando's sermon this week was powerful! God planned our destiny before our creation. Our salvation comes through His grace as a gift, but for a purpose, and this purpose requires action. The more we work with our Father, the more our faith is perfected.  If we can believe all things are possible, then we can partner with God. He is waiting for the church to rise.

This week, Pastor Fernando began a brand new series on Faith vs. Unbelief and asked the question, "Why Unbelief?". Our daily trials and the way we look at our world today has a lot to do with how we view God. If we are not careful, we will allow our hearts harden and not trust that God will do what he said. We must embrace our promises beyond the current situation. Just remember that God is always good, and he fulfills His promises on His timetable, not ours.

Pastor Nathan brought a word for all on Sunday. Encountering the Everyday, asks the question, "What do we do with the special moments we have with God in service when we face the reality of Monday and our daily lives?" Learn the three pitfalls we can easily fall into when seeking God. God is not looking for spiritual hermits who separate themselves from the world, looking for an encounter for only themselves. He is looking for sons and daughters who take their encounters to our homes, our jobs, our world. Are you ready?

Pastor Fernando brings a good word on Insight in Troubled Times. Sometimes it is hard to discern God in our difficult days. Our mind has to see beyond the problem to see what God is doing in the situation. There are always two perspectives in every situation: the enemy who wants to alter our destiny and God who controls every part of the storm.

In this week's special Independence Day message, Pastor Fernando uncovers an important lesson for us all about the nature of God's Kingdom and our own world. In the book of Judges, Gideon had won a decisive victory of Midian. But the people forgot the victory and the freedom that was won, and instead, they became self-absorbed. So too with us, we can not allow ourselves to slip into a mindset that idolizes quick returns and enjoys the power of God's Kingdom without knowing the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross.
