Pastor Fernando's "Seven Passovers & New Beginnings" message was impactful. In this first session, he discussed the significance of three of the Passovers and how they relate to our lives. The key takeaways are: let go of bitterness and recognize the goodness of God, stay flexible and honor the Father, and ignore the many voices around you to focus on the ONE.
Pastor Steve Riggle delivered a powerful message about the gifts God bestows upon us and how each member of the body of Christ contributes uniquely. With our individual gifts, each of us comes together to form a complete whole. We are called to share these gifts with the world, serving as salt and light. When we collaborate and utilize our gifts, we hold the keys, and the gates of hell cannot prevail against us. How are you contributing to the greater purpose?
Pastor Fernando continues his series on the Seven Passovers by discussing the fourth and fifth Passovers. He uses the examples of King Hezekiah and King Josiah to illustrate how these leaders were willing to remove evil and idols. Their lives showed the importance of trusting in the Lord and avoiding distractions that can hinder our relationship with Him. Josiah, in particular, highlights the significance of maintaining a tender heart, even in a cynical world. By taking steps to put our lives in order, repenting, and healing while keeping a tender heart, we can restore our joy and witness God move powerfully in our lives; revival can occur.
Join us for a special Sunday filled with uplifting worship, communion, and a message from Pastor Fernando encouraging us to let go of past hurts and prepare ourselves for the future God has in store for us. Encouragers have always sought to share their faith with the next generation, and now we have the opportunity to transition into a new season, following where God is guiding us.
Pastor Steve Riggle spoke to us about the limitations we often accept and grow comfortable with. To move forward with the Lord into the places He desires for us, we need to overcome these limitations and utilize the unique gifts God has given us as we step into all God has planned for us and embrace His season. Pastor Steve shared personal stories that illustrated how God has worked in his life to help him break free from these limitations. Following this beautiful and inspiring message, Juan Carlos Manzewitch reflected on his experiences with our Encourager family, leading us to a powerful closing prayer.
Pastor Fernando shares an important message for the new year: we are committed to a New Season 2025. As the salt and light of the world, we must listen for His voice, and He will guide us. Let's adopt new habits for 2025 and deepen our relationship with Him. It's time to put our losses and disappointments behind us and look forward to the future. We should listen and wait for the Holy Spirit as we embrace this new season. Together, we can become a community that works miracles, focusing on the Kingdom of God in 2025.
Pastor Fernando shares a timely message for the new year: An Overcoming Mindset. Regardless of our challenges in 2025, we must confront them and rise above their obstacles. Throughout the Bible, we find examples of individuals who have experienced glimpses of God's glory. Once they encounter it, their perspective shifts, allowing them to see life and conflict from a higher vantage point. As we begin 2025, we must cultivate a heart of worship and remain focused on Jesus and His throne, avoiding distractions that may sway us. His voice should take precedence over all others.
Pastor Fernando delivers a powerful message titled "The Name of Jesus." He explains that the names of God in the Old Testament carry significant meaning and purpose, which are all encapsulated in one name—Jesus. We possess Jesus's name and authority, and we must awaken to the belief that God can restore us. Jesus can transform the ordinary into the extraordinary. Satan understands the power of Jesus's name and will try to distract us, but we can wield this name as a powerful weapon.
Benjamin Summers delivers an insightful sermon on God's love for all people. Using scripture as a foundation, he emphasizes that God desires everyone to repent and turn to Him. In his sermon, he presents seven key points and highlights that Jesus was a friend to sinners. Occasionally, we may get sidetracked by this notion and become frustrated with others and their opinions. However, God desires to reach all people, if possible and wants us to let that love flow through us to others. It is our purpose after all.
Pastor Fernando's sermon of the week, "Stepping Into His Ways," is truly powerful. In life, you have three options: to forge your path, to let life happen to you, or to step into God's story for your life. Remember, you are not an accident; the Lord designs us to fulfill His purpose. If Satan can confuse our identity, we may fail to realize this purpose. We must seek our true purpose, align ourselves with it, and strive to run the race to win.
