In his life and earthly ministry, the Lord Jesus set into motion a way of life that was completely counter-cultural during his time; not only for the little Nation of Israel but also for the pagan nations of the entire world.

The Sermon on the Mount is the keynote address introducing the new age which our Lord Jesus came to usher in. Now, here in this century so far removed from time when Jesus walked, talked, and sat among people, we need more than ever to give ourselves to the way of life that Jesus taught.
