pFew subjects are more controversial than the study of eschatology, or end times.  In the book of Mark, Jesus addressed His disciples concerns about what would happen at the end of the age. In Mark 13, Jesus talks about the impending destruction of the temple, and he also shares about our need to always be prepared for His return. We must be careful to not forget our mission while we await His return. Click Here for our LifeGroup Discussion Guide Click […]/p

pThe Christian life is a balance between worship on the mountaintop and service in the valley. Unfortunately, many times we rely on our strength to serve instead of relying on prayer. We must remember that our power to do great things for God comes from God.  In Mark 9, we see that we never advance in our Christian life past our need for Jesus, for faith, and for prayer. pWe must be careful to not let tradition take the place of truth. It does us good to examine our church traditions in the light of God’s Word and to be courageous enough to make changes. There are basically only two approaches to religion, each of which can be summed up in a single word: do or done. The world says the problem is out there, and the solution is to answer the question, What can I do? The Bible says […]/p
