Whether you have followed along all fall or you are joining us for the first time, this message ise about encountering Christ, not just learning about him.

  • That You May Believe: A Final Reflection on the Gospel of John

John didn't write his Gospel simply so we would know what happened to Jesus. He wrote it so that something might happen to us. In this closing reflection, we look back across the whole Gospel (the signs, the "I am" statements, the cross and the empty tomb) and ask the question John himself poses: Do you believe?

Whether you've followed the whole series or you're joining us for the first time, this is a message about encountering Christ, not just learning about him.

  • Built Together | Ephesians 2:19–22 | Christ Community Church Ardmore OK

God is building us together into a people aligned to Christ and inhabited by His Spirit. In this message, we explore what it means to move from attending to belonging, to return to Christ as our cornerstone, and to become the Body of Christ together.

At Christ Community Church, we believe following Jesus is a way of life we learn together. We are still becoming, still being formed, and still being built together.

Christ is our cornerstone. We are built together.

  • John 20:1-18

    Why Are You Weeping?

In John 20:1-18, Mary Magdalene stands outside the empty tomb weeping. Jesus has risen, but Mary does not recognize Him. The world has already changed before her heart can understand what has happened.

    Then Jesus speaks one word:

    “Mary.”

The resurrection is God’s act for the world. Jesus speaking Mary’s name is God’s act for Mary.

In this message, Artie Farve explores grief, resurrection, recognizing Christ’s presence, and the hope that Jesus may already be near even when we cannot see what He is doing.

Mary begins by saying, “They have taken my Lord.”

She leaves saying, “I have seen the Lord!”
