What made David a man after God's own heart?  His life was marred with some rough patches like adultery, deceit, and murder just to name a few.  

There is no sin too big, no distance too far, no pain too great that can stop God's love for you and prevent you from being reconciled to God through Jesus Christ.  This is the Good News of the Gospel.  Do we really believe this to be true?  Psalm 51 leads us to realize that we have nothing left except Jesus.  In this place, we find that we too become men and women after God's own heart.
