  • The Danger of Online Preaching
There's a place for online preaching, but it should never replace the in-person gathering of God's people to hear the proclamation of the word. Listen to the entire sermon: https://www.sermonaudio.com/sermons/31725255543387

  • Developing Tools to Empower Deeper Bible Study
David Larsen is excited to share about the blessings and challenges of developing tools to create word-for-word mapping of every word in the KJV and NASB Bible text to the Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic source texts. He will focus on the challenges of working with Biblical data, the principles of data-driven architecture, functional user-interface design, data validation workflows, and model-view-controller design patterns. Dr. Larsen has worked for over 12 years at Blue Letter Bible (BLB), creating free Bible study tools which are used by more than 5 million people around the globe every year. David has a Doctorate of Management in Information Systems Technology (DM/IST, ABD) from the University of Phoenix. David has been married for 17 years to his wonderful wife Kimberly. He has a son and two daughters.

  • Vault Update Site #2
Visiting site #2 of The Vault with our Infrastructure Operations Manager somewhere in the colder climbs of the USA. We don't have the largest space here, but we're doing our best with what we have available. Our hope is to continue strengthening infrastructure resilience in the UK next. This is an impromptu video to provide a brief update on where we are on both the hardware and software development. Thank you for your prayers. Learn more here: sermonaudio.com/vault

  • What Is Truth?
We're living in a world that is sinking in disinformation, deepfakes, and outright deception. We cannot tell what is true and what is artificial anymore. In the midst of this sea of lies, it seems that more than ever there is a desire to find that which is true. In an interview, Elon Musk said: "I care a lot about the truth of things and trying to understand the truth of things. I think that's important. If you're going to come up with some solution, then the truth is really, really important." People today are asking the same question that a Roman governor once asked over 2,000 years ago, "What is truth?" Jesus Christ declared in John 14:6, "I AM THE WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE, no man cometh unto the Father but by me." We have re-launched our Gospel of John Project for 2025 in partnership with the Trinitarian Bible Society and are seeking to reach 12 cities in 12 months. Each month we will mail out an attractive Gospel of John booklet to at least 10,000 homes -- until we reach 120,000 homes by the end of the year. • Walking on Water
As we close out 2024, we reflect on a big year of advances and changes. In many ways, it feels as though we've been walking on water for the past 24 years, endeavoring to keep our eyes on the Lord. What we are doing, humanly speaking, is impossible for a company of our size. Yet, as we continue to move forward and walk on the waters of impossibility, my prayer is that we will not, like Peter, be overtaken by the fear of unbelief, or should I say, disbelief that we could or even should have as our goal something as audacious as "every sermon in every language." If we're serious about this objective, it will require of us to get out of our comfort zone, get out of the boat, and take the necessary steps of faith to be where the Lord is in His mission throughout the world.
