Sitting down to read the Bible without distraction is becoming increasingly difficult. These videos were created to help me to sit down, shut out the world, and spend the time to read the Bible, slowly, thoughtfully, and systematically. I take an entire hour to read only one chapter in order to encourage meditation and reflection. I hope this will be a help to all who watch.

These impromptu videos were taken at my request when I last visited with Rev Ivan Foster in 2014. My own personal prayer life being so shaped by this man, I sought to capture some of his thoughts on the vital discipline of prayer.
