Jesus warns the disciples that persecution will come, regardless they are to continue to witness.

The disciples desire the departing Christ to show them the Father. Our Lord's response was immediate, -Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me ...-

Are you afraid to follow Christ into the unknown- If you are, your in good company- Even the Disciples feared the other side. Nevertheless, let us follow on, Christ is praying for you to have courage. In part one we explore why the disciples had to be constrained to get in the boat and go to the other side. This is not a trivial point. You will find it extremely practical in your walk with the Lord- Hear me out, this will matter-

To live in Canaan you must discard the flesh

Don't settle for Edom when GOD has promised you Canaan .

You are not promised the land of discouragement and despair, but a land of victory and faith. Don't be distracted from reaching Canaan by ground that God does not want you to own. If you want to live in Canaan, you must first get to Gilgal.
