SermonAudio: MP3

Pastor Alan continues his study of the life of David by--discussing how man looks at the outward appearance,--but God looks at the heart. This is clearly evident in--the choosing of David for kingship.

In order to better understand the kingship of David,--Pastor Alan examines the tragic story of Saul, the--faithless king. Israel chose their ideal king in Saul, but--God had a better plan.

The first message in the series will introduce David as--not only the great King of Israel, but also a type of the--Messiah.- But what is a King without a Kingdom-- We--must also see in David-s kingdom a type of the greater--Kingdom of the Messiah.- That-s where you and I come--in.- God-s promise to David includes an everlasting--kingdom and king.
