Gabriel shows up in the scriptures announcing the coming of the Messiah. This announcing in the Old Testament is primarily regarding Jesus' Second coming.

Shame is the hidden enemy of living in the freedom that Christ Jesus gives us as children of God. The presence of shame has been our enemy since Adam and Eve. Understanding shame helps us to release it and walk as children of God who receive and extend forgiveness.

How do we move forward remembering who we were in the past and who we should be in the future. This passage in Ephesians displays the wonder of being in Christ's resurrection when He rose from the dead and being with Him when He was seated on the throne at the right hand of God the Father.

For us to live well we need to be God-centered. To be God-centered we need to be Bible-centered. Scripture is clear on the glorious nature of the God who shall be the center to our lives.

Using Joshua Jefferson's The Ephesian Plan for Peace we find the good news being expressed in a way that touches the the areas of our relationships with people, our authorities both in heaven and on earth and the vegetation and animal life of our planet.

The practical peace of God is illustrated through the sending out of 72 disciples in Luke 10. Here Jesus gives practical lessons on receiving and rejecting the peace of God through His disciples.

Jesus illustrates the fabric of the peace of God in ways that challenge our normal thought process. This is the first part of a two part series.
