Sermons at Oasis

Things did not look good for Paul. He was falsely accused, imprisoned, and awaiting trial in Rome. Yet despite his situation, he called the Jewish leaders together and continue his mission. His chains did not stop his calling. God was not finished.

Even when life feels like a 'checkmate,' God still has the final move. His purpose prevails!

God uses "storms" in our lives to shape our faith, and to open doors for His purpose. Even in a shipwreck, we see God use Paul for his Kingdom. No matter how broken the journey may feel, God is in control, guiding us to our destination. Are you willing to be shipwrecked for the Gospel?

God uses trials not just to test us, but to testify through us. Paul, though falsely accused and imprisoned, never wavered in proclaiming the Gospel. In the same way, our hardships are opportunities for God to tell His story through us!

In Acts 19 & 20, we see the power of being truly known by God, the authority that comes with His name, and the importance of sharing the Gospel without fear.
