Pastor Steer looks at four sets of circumstances regarding God providing healing.

We live in an age of anxiety. Some suggest the number one problem in the lives of people today is fear. This is serious, for fear undermines our health. It breaks down our nervous system. It causes ulcers and tension headaches. It paralyzes our will, clouds our mind, and robs us of sleep. Fear can also make us spiritual failures, for when fear comes in, joy goes out. The message of the Bible is that Christians do not need to live in fear. Psalm 27 is David’s song of freedom from fear. He is well-qualified to speak on the subject.

All of us will suffer. All of us will face tragedy. How should we respond when our hearts are sad and not glad? The answer is found in the songs of lament. There are fifty of these psalms. They show us what to do when it seems that God has forsaken us.

The Psalms are the song book of scripture. They reflect an amazing variety of human emotion and show us how we can approach God in every situation of life.

Where can we go for help when we stand at a crossroads? The Apostle Paul has a great recommendation! 

Now these things happened to them as an example, and they were written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come. 1 Corinthians 10:11
