Line 7 of the Apostle's Creed says there will be a judgment. Why would a good God send people to hell? Isn't being judgmental built right in to the Christian faith?

How could there be a God who is both good and all powerful if the world overflows with so much senseless suffering? Line 4-6 of the creed is the Christian answer to evil.

Why are the followers of Jesus blessed? Jesus shows us the picture of his people and the kingdom they are to live out.

Line 3 of the Apostle's Creed speaks of virgin birth; how can reasonable people take that seriously? Why are people skeptical of all miracle claims except the ones made by their own religion?

Line 2 of the Apostle's Creed continues, saying Jesus is Lord. Why would I want to believe in a cosmic dictator who has me under constant surveillance, denies my freedom and forces me to live under his commandments?

Line 1 of the Apostle's creed says "I believe in God" - why should anyone do that? And what does that word mean?

The Apostles Creed begins, "I believe" - but Christians aren't the only ones who make faith commitments. Faith is common to all people, involves commitment to a grand story about the world and creates both insiders and outsiders.
