Antioch Waltham Church,
Pastor Sean Richmond
Easter Sermon April 12, 2020

Lead Pastor, Sean Richmond, reminds us of the discomfort we experience when thinking about Satan and his demonic forces, but also of the total assurance and ability of our Lord and Savoir, Jesus the Messiah, to be victorious over all! Hallelujah!

Church Elder and one called to healing, David Pucci, speaks on having total trust and reliance on God to do and be our deliverer and our healer. He reminds us that trust is truly strongest when we don't already know or understand the outcome, but yet we choose to obey/ to receive what and how He moves.

Lead Pastor, Sean Richmond, talks about our desire for status and notoriety and the importance of choosing humility and putting others as more honored than ourselves.

Guest speakers, John and Evelyn Lo, help us to better understand the picture of the "Ezer" that God prepared for Adam in the garden (Eve) and is even now preparing for His son, Jesus (The Church). As the Bride of Christ: We are deeply loved, We are a help to the poor and needy, We have a wisdom the world needs, We transform the land and plant churches!
AMEN!

Lead Pastor, Sean Richmond, points out evidence for the miraculous and symbolic nature of Jesus' first sign at the Wedding in Cana. In turning water to wine, using 5 ceremonial bathing jars, He was revealing himself, notably to the servants, the least of these, as a God who delights in celebration and Who has concern for the reputations of the bride and groom. Jesus is the Groom and we the Church are to be His bride!

Associate Pastor, Brendan Hollingsworth, leads us through where we might find ourselves in the midst of Jesus' transfiguration story. Are we terrified by His lightning like appearance? Are we fainted, as though asleep? Are we transformed by our encounter with Jesus?
