When Visitors Come Into Our Assemblies Beyond a shadow of a doubt, our King cares deeply about how we treat strangers, outsiders, unbelievers, and fellow members of the household of God who visit our assemblies: + "When a stranger sojourners with you in your land ... " (Lev 19:33-34) + ". .. I was a stranger and you welcomed me. .. " (Matt2 5:31-40) + "If the whole church comes together. .. and outsiders or unbelievers enter. .. " (1 Cor1 4:20-25) + "Walk in wisdom toward outsiders ... " (Col 4:2-6) + "Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers ... " (Heb 13:1-2) + "My brothers, show no partiality as you hold the faith in our Lord Jesus Christ" (James 2:1-8) + "Beloved, it is a faithful thing you do in all your efforts for these brothers, strangers" (3 John5 -11) Every single time a guest comes into one of our assemblies, we have a tremendous opportunity, and we want to be good stewards of those opportunities, not leaving the full impact of the blessing up to chance or assuming someone else will take care of it.
